1. Introduction
Welcome to the Nigerian National Standard Subscription Platform (NNSP), a digital service provided by the Standards Organisation of Nigeria (SON) in a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) with Goringo Consult Limited. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our websites, including https://nnsp.org.ng/ and https://system.nnsp.org.ng/, and any related applications, services, and content (collectively, the "Platform").
By accessing, registering for, or using the Platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be legally bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you are prohibited from using the Platform and must discontinue use immediately.
These Terms constitute a binding legal agreement between you ("User," "you," or "your") and the Standards Organisation of Nigeria (SON) and its designated private partners ("we," "us," or "our").

| Services | Includes access to Nigerian Industrial Standards (NIS), international standards, certification programs (SONCAP and MANCAP), training, and other resources provided through the Platform. |
| Subscription | A paid or unpaid plan that grants a User access to specific Content and Services for a defined period. |
3. User Eligibility and Account Registration
To access and use certain features of the Platform, you may be required to register for an account. You must be at least eighteen (18) years of age to create an account and use our Services. By using the Platform, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement and can legally adhere to these Terms.
When you register, you agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information as prompted by the registration form.
- Maintain and promptly update your information to keep it accurate, up to date, and complete.
- Maintain the confidentiality, safety, and security of your account credentials (username and password).
- Accept full responsibility for all activities that occur under your account.
SON reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account through the Goringo Consult Limited if any information provided is found to be inaccurate, not current, or incomplete.
4. Acceptable Use and User Conduct
You agree to use the Platform only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of, restrict, or inhibit anyone else's use and enjoyment of the Platform. Prohibited behavior includes, but is not limited to:
- Engaging in any activity that is illegal under the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria or any other applicable jurisdiction.
- Using the Platform to harass, abuse, or harm another person.
- Transmitting or uploading any material that is defamatory, obscene, or offensive.
- Attempting to gain unauthorized access to our computer systems or engaging in any activity that disrupts, diminishes the quality of, interferes with the performance of, or impairs the functionality of the Platform.
- Violating anti-bribery, anti-corruption, and anti-money laundering laws, including the Money Laundering (Prevention and Prohibition) Act 2022, the Criminal Code, and the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission Act.
5. Subscription Services, Fees, and Payment
The Platform offers various subscription plans that provide different levels of access to our Content and Services. These plans are detailed on our website and are subject to change.
Mandatory Subscription: In accordance with the Public-Private Partnership framework, all contractors, suppliers, and agencies engaged in public procurement at the Federal, State, or Local government levels are required to subscribe to the SON's Standards Digital Platform through the NIDSP. This is a prerequisite for bidding on and implementing public projects.
Fees and Payment: By selecting a paid subscription plan, you agree to pay the applicable fees as described on the Platform. All fees are quoted in Nigerian Naira (NGN) unless otherwise specified. You are responsible for providing a valid payment method. We reserve the right to change our subscription fees upon reasonable notice.
6. Intellectual Property Rights
All Content provided on the Platform, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, images, audio clips, digital downloads, data compilations, and software, is the property of SON, its content suppliers, or its licensors and is protected by Nigerian and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws, including the Copyright Act 2022, the Patent and Designs Act, and the Trademarks Act.
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Content for personal or internal business purposes, in accordance with your subscription plan. You agree not to reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell, or exploit any portion of the Content or Services without the express prior written consent of SON.
7. User-Generated Content
If you post, upload, or otherwise submit content to the Platform ("User Content"), you grant SON and its Private Partner a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, and fully sublicensable right to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works from, distribute, and display such User Content worldwide in any media. You are solely responsible for the User Content you provide and warrant that you own or have the necessary rights to submit it.
8. Privacy and Data Protection
Our Privacy Policy governs our collection and use of your personal information. We are committed to protecting your privacy in accordance with the Nigeria Data Protection Act (NDPA) 2023 and other relevant data protection laws. By using the platform, you agree to the data practices outlined in our Privacy Policy.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties and Limitation of Liability
The Platform, Content, and Services are offered on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not make any representations or warranties, express or implied, that the Platform will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that it will operate without disruptions, delays, or faults.
To the maximum extent allowed by law, SON and its Private Partner will not be responsible for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether directly or indirectly caused, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible damages. This includes damages resulting from (a) your access to or use of, or inability to access or use, the Platform; (b) any conduct or content by third parties on the Platform; or (c) unauthorized access, use, or changes to your transmissions or content.
10. Modifications to the Terms and Services
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Platform, Services, or these Terms at any time without prior notice. Any changes will take effect once posted on the Platform. Continuing to use the Platform after such modifications means you accept the new Terms. We will try to notify you about major changes, but it's your responsibility to review these Terms regularly.
11. Termination
We may immediately suspend or terminate your access to the Platform without prior notice or liability for any reason, including if you breach these Terms. Once terminated, your right to use the Platform will end immediately.
12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by and interpreted according to the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising from or related to these Terms or your use of the Platform will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Federal High Court of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja.
